Obaseki mourns with Osaigbovo Iyoha over father's passing

The immediate past Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Hon. Osaigbovo Iyoha following the passing of his father, Pa Benedict Okhionkpamwonyi Iyoha.

In a condolence message personally signed by the former Governor, Obaseki expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the late Pa Iyoha as a man who lived "an exemplary life of purpose and service."

“Kind, compassionate and dutiful, Pa Iyoha was a gracious and loving father who deeply cared for his family and instilled strong values in all who encountered him,” Obaseki noted.

He further praised Pa Iyoha for raising successful children, highlighting the virtues of excellence, hard work, and diligence that he imparted.

The former Governor also paid tribute to Pa Iyoha’s legacy as a community leader and a bridge builder who dedicated his life to the progress and development of his people.

“He will be remembered for his conviviality, love for family, and commitment to the development of society,” he added.

Obaseki commiserated with Hon. Osaigbovo Iyoha, the entire Iyoha family, friends, and associates, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the irreparable loss.

“Accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences,” he added.
