Edo Nuj Correspondent Chapel Congratulates Godwin Obaseki On His Election

The Edo State Governor-Elect, His Excellency Godwin Obaseki has appealed to the Media to continue their full support in disseminating the right information, as seven months from now will be challenging due to the downturn of the economy.
Governor-Elect Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki made the remark while playing host to the Edo state Correspondent chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists who presented a congratulatory Card to him on his victory at the just concluded Edo state Governorship Election in his campaign office at Benin City.
According to him, “The present economic situation in the country has posed challenges to the new government, which will require adequate and correct information dissemination to the people”. He pointed out that, his administration will consolidate on the Achievement of the last few years and on human Capital Development which will focus more on Women and the Youths in the next seven months.
He commended the partnership and professionalism displayed by the correspondent chapel members and other Newsmen in the State all through the electioneering Campaign and after the election as he assures them of his commitment to keeping his Campaign promises.
Earlier in his address, the Chairman of the Correspondent Chapel, Mr. Simon Egbebuluem Congratulated the Governor-Elect, Godwin Obaseki unbehalf of the Members of the Chapel and assures him their readiness to help propagate policies of the government to the people of Edo state. He said, “I want to assure you that our members are fully ready to help propagate the policy of your government and where there are reasons for advising you can always count on us”.
He, however, presented a congratulatory Card to the Governor, Godwin Obaseki, and Prayed that God Almighty grant him a successful Administration as he further brings development to the people of the state
