Isoken Omo

She obtained a B.Tech degree in Estate Management from the River State University of Science and Technology, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State in 1992 and an MBA in Business Administration from the prestigious University of Hull, United Kingdom in 1999. She holds a Certificate in Executive Strategy for Results from London Business School (LBS).

In the United Kingdom, Omo worked with the London Boroughs of Hillingdon, Redbridge and Southwark, where she rose to the Head – Housing Regeneration Initiatives in a team, implementing the £400million Elephant and Castle Regeneration Project. She continues to work as consultant for different housing initiatives and Fora for housing funding, community cohesion and safety.

She joined Afribank Nigeria Plc., in 2008, rising to Acting Head – Corporate Banking and Head – Corporate – North Central Region before leaving the bank in November, 2011.

She later became the Managing Director/CEO of ASO Investment and Development Company (AIDC) Limited, positioning the company to be among the leading providers of affordable housing in Nigeria, having delivered affordable housing in Cross River, Ondo, Oyo and Abia States.

Until her appointment, she was the Executive Chairman of the Edo Development and Property Agency (EDPA), which she transformed to a private-sector facing entity, leading to revamp of estates held by the agency and partnerships for the development of Emotan Gardens Estate, JARA Stores and Shoprite.
